Our adventure-based Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) courses are for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals. Each program is designed to maximize experiential learning through an active, sport-specific curriculum approach. Participants will practice wilderness medical skills that can be applied broadly in any environment, while also focusing on preventative techniques and important judgment skills.
Wilderness First Aid
Combining a highly experiential in-person training with our self-paced online curriculum, this program provides skills-practice and conceptual knowledge. Practice treating life threats, stabilizing injuries, and evaluating and managing medical and environmental hardships.
Wilderness First Responder
The Wilderness First Responder certification is a five-day, internationally recognized course—the standard for industry professionals and outdoor enthusiasts. This program's focused learning and practical experience provide the conceptual knowledge and hands-on skills for staying safe in the wilderness.
Wildernes Medicine Online
This course is a great place to begin learning or refresh your skills. Our online program gives you 24/7 access to the instructional video series and resources you need to stay safe on your next adventure. You can apply the credit from this program toward any of our in-person classes.
